Our story

Started with a simple frustration.

Too many businesses end up with a website built by one vendor, a brand built by another, and marketing run by a third — none of whom talk to each other. The result looks fine in isolation and falls apart as a system.

Sipher Digital exists to close that gap. One studio, working across design, development, and the operational tools underneath — so decisions made in one place don't get undone in another.

We're based in Christchurch and work with businesses across New Zealand and further afield, in person where it helps and remotely where it doesn't matter.

We stay small on purpose. Every project gets senior attention, not a rotating cast of juniors.

A website is one part of a larger machine. We build the parts so they work together — brand, site, and the tools behind them.

Trends move fast and mean little six months later. We optimise for something slower: work that still holds up, still loads fast, and still represents the business well long after launch.
