Case Study — Local Service & Booking
1855 Barbershop.
A hand-coded, booking-first site for a barbershop in the heart of Prebbleton — built to feel as considered as the haircut.
The brief
1855 Barbershop needed a site that matched the calm, considered feel of the shop itself — brick walls, leather seating, and a "Book Now" that's the obvious next step from the moment the page loads.
What we built
We hand-coded the site from scratch — no drag-and-drop builder — so every detail, from the wordmark to the way the shop photography sits behind the copy, was built to spec rather than fitted into a template. The booking flow sits in the header and again in the hero, so there's never more than one click between a visitor and a confirmed appointment.
What's on the site
Built for the booking moment.
Booking-first layout
A persistent "Book Now" in the header and hero, so scheduling is never more than a click away.
Mobile-first build
Built and tested for the phone-in-hand booking moment first, then scaled up to desktop.
On-brand photography
Real shop photography — brick, leather, warm lighting — instead of stock imagery, so the site feels like walking in the door.
